Who We Are:

RDA Media Enterprises is owned by Dana Wagner whose love of technology has brought about what he sees as his "natural evolution" — from musician, to songwriter, to producer, to graphic artist, to animation and digital video production junkie. His clients appreciate the attention to detail and perfectionist attitude that Dana infuses into his projects. Nicknamed "The Technical Guru" by co-workers, his extensive areas of expertise reflect his widely varied interests and his passion for absorbing the latest technology. His experience includes:

• 10 years as a professional musician (keyboards/vocals)
• 5 years as band leader/arranger
• 7 years as live sound engineer (both on and offstage)
• 19 years of MIDI programming (for live performance and studio work)
• 11 years as studio owner/producer
• 10 years in the graphic arts/digital prepress/publishing/creative services arena (working extensively with Quark Xpress and Adobe Creative Suite)

During the past few years, Dana has been immersing himself in digital video production, 3-D design, computer animation, and web design/Flash applications.

The Facility:

Audio Production

The studio is home to a full MIDI/digital audio production suite featuring a 48 track Pro Tools system with a full array of TDM-based samplecell cards, DSP farms, and outboard effects. The main console is the ever-popular Mackie 32-channel 8-buss mixer, with subgroups driving the Digidesign i/o hardware. The outboard effects are also routed into Pro Tools directly through another i/o. The Mackie HR824s serve as primary monitors, while a Hafler-driven pair of Yamaha NS10-Ms over the keyboard workstation act as secondary references.

The keyboard workstation features the legendary Kurzweil K2600X and K2500RS samplers. The K2600X has both Orchestral and Contemporary ROM Blocks installed, and is loaded with an additional 128MB of Sample RAM and a 9.1G internal SCSI drive. A Hafler P-3000 drives the secondary monitors. Also note the presence of the mystical Parabolic Paraffin-Ignition Upper-EM Band Wave Refraction Unit. This is also known by guitarists far-and-wide as the "Tasteless Lick Nullifier". OK, OK – it's a candle with a magnifying glass.

The MIDI rack is loaded up with all the "classic" rack-mount boxes to waiting to satisfy every type of sonic craving. Yamaha, Korg, Roland, Oberheim… they're all here. The trusty Opcode Studio 5LX 16-port MIDI router handles all the air traffic controller duties.

Multimedia/Digital Video Production

The digital video/multimedia production workstation is powered by a dual 2GHz Apple G5 system with 2.5G RAM and over 400GB of internal storage. It is also equipped with a 16X Dual-Layer Superdrive and two Apple 20" Cinema Displays. In addition to in-house CGI graphics and animation, high quality NTSC video is provided by a Canon GL-2 DV camcorder.
