Winter Concert 2005 - DVD Project

The Orchestras of Mill Creek High School presented their 2005 Winter Concert with performances by the Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra, Cello Choir, and Concert Orchestra. The 2-hour program showcased a wide variety of material, including a featured cello performance by Josh Teague, winner of the 2005 Concerto Competition.

Concert DVD available for Purchase:
DVD available for sale in mid-December by the Mill Creek Orchestra Alliance. Proceeds from DVD sales will benefit the orchestra in its endeavor to provide a learning and enriching environment for the students. Please contact Orchestra Director Dana Lowe for pre-order/purchasing information.
Project Breakdown:
Two-camera video shoot in Anamorphic 16:9 using Canon GL-2 camcorders;
DV footage imported and edited in Final Cut Studio; creation of title slugs; final edited DV sequences exported via Compressor to highest quality mp-2 video streams and Dolby AC3 audio; track assembly, menu creation, and DVD authoring in DVD Studio Pro. Closing credit roll to be composited in Motion.
